Roni joined Thurlaston Parish Council in November 2017. Roni has lived in the village for over 30 years and has been involved with various groups, organisations and projects within the village from the tots group to theatre productions and continues to help and support many events.

Trevor has lived in Thurlaston since 1992 and joined the Parish Council in January 2010. Trevor became Chairman of Thurlaston Parish Council in May 2014 until May 2019. Trevor is committed to ensuring that any development in the village will benefit the whole community.

Esther Joined Thurlaston Parish Council in May 2004. Esther is a qualified Barrister and has lived in the village almost all of her life. Esther is a member of Thurlaston Chapel and involved in various youth activities in the parish and helps to run the annual camp for young people. Esther was also appointed Youth Councillor for the Parish in May 2016.

Paul has lived in the village since 1993 and has served as a Parish Councillor since January 2013. Paul became Chair of the Council in May 2019 after serving 5 years as Vice-Chair. After working in various Senior Leadership positions in Banking he formed his own Management Consultancy business in 1999 and successfully ran this until his retirement in 2018.

He is actively involved with Thurlaston Carnival and the Village Hall Management Committee where his wife, Val, is Chair.

Maggie is a Parish Councillor and District Councillor for the Normanton Ward which includes Thurlaston, Huncote and Leicester Forest West. Maggie was born in Thurlaston and attended the village primary school. Married to Neil since 1984, they have two grown up sons. Maggie was Chairman between 2003 and 2014 and believes village organisations are the life blood of the community and need continual support and encouragement. Maggie has worked for Age Concern Leicestershire and Rutland as an Information and Advice Worker since 2002. In her spare time Maggie enjoys participating in the Thurlaston Players amateur dramatics group and flower arranging and regularly attends her local Chapel and supports their activities.
